The local Box Elder/Brigham City committee for our Spring meeting has just put together a fabulous Country "farm" dinner event for the night before our meeting. The dinner will be held at the Holmgren Historical Farm and Garden in Tremonton @ 460 N 300 E: https://www.facebook.com/holmgren.farm
The former USU Extension Director, Lyle Holmgren, provides a killer spare rib dinner and homemade food with his wife Kathy at the old barn where he and his sister Tamara, who now runs the historical site for weddings and other occasions, grew up. Dinner will be served at 6 p.m. and the cost is $20.00.
You can either drive there on your own, or meet us at the Box Elder County Historic Building, 1 South Main, Brigham City at 5:00 p.m. (main floor) for a quick 15 minute tour of the county building (including a climb up the haunted bell tower), then caravan or carpool up to Tremonton (about 20 minutes north). We might even have some square dancing going on after dinner! (The county building is in the same block as the Hampton Inn if you are staying there). Jeans and jackets recommended. Come join us for a fun country evening!
