Chanel Flores is an experienced economic development professional whose career has spanned roles in both the public and private sectors. She previously served as Economic Development Director for Davis County, leading the county's initiatives to foster growth and improve quality of life through partnerships across industry, academia, and government. Earlier in her career she served at the Utah Governor's Office of Economic Development as Industry Director of Aerospace and Defense, at Davis Applied Technology College, and at The Utah Advanced Materials & Manufacturing Initiative. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Communication and a Master of Strategic Communication, and has been recognized by the Society for the Advancement of Material and Process Engineering with the 2020 Young Professional Emerging Leadership Award.
