We want to thank Dixie Tech for hosting the Utah Alliance for our Winter meeting. Their new building and meeting facility were fabulous!
We have a new President/Chairman and board members. We want to say a special thanks to the retiring board members listed below:

Second: We will be launching an updated website shortly. Special thanks to Don Willie for putting this together and showcasing the site to the group at our meeting.
Third: We had some great presentations from Dixie Tech, The Southern Utah Chamber Coalition, Lt. Governor, Spencer Cox, and Washington County.
Fourth: In conjunction with the Governor's Economic Summit in April, the Utah Alliance will be hosting a special education seminar where we will be focusing on some of the new issues impacting economic development statewide and also our profession.
Lastly: Marlin Eldred and Tami Ursenbach have been working hard on putting together a "Certified Economic Development Professional" track that is available for all economic development professionals statewide. The ED101 course is taught at Utah Valley University in Orem and covers everything including Planning, Business Retention strategies and Community Development.
