Program Description:
Summit County at a Crossroads: Aligning strategy, investment, and resilience for Utah’s premier mountain economy
As Summit County enters a defining chapter, shaped by the transition of the Sundance Film Festival, variable winter conditions, and the long-term runway to the 2034 Winter Olympics, this Utah Alliance for Economic Development gathering brings together public- and private-sector leaders to examine what’s next.
Featuring the Summit County Economic Development Director alongside leaders from Sotheby’s and other local businesses, this conversation will explore current economic development priorities, key market data, and early outcomes across tourism, real estate, and business growth. Grounded in collaboration and actionable insights, the discussion will focus on how Summit County and Utah as a whole can align strategy, infrastructure, and investment to sustain momentum, strengthen resilience, and support long-term economic vitality.
10:00 am
Joint Ski Day:
Utah Alliance & ULI Utah at Park City Mountain Resort (Canyons V)
Following the program, participants are invited to continue the conversation on the slopes and attend a joint outing with ULI Utah. Exact meeting location details will be shared next week. Each participant is responsible for securing their own lift pass. This will offer a unique opportunity to bring together Utah’s real estate and economic development community in a more informal, relationship-driven setting.
Upon purchase, you will receive a confirmation number to take to the ticket office (any ticket office on the mountain can assist) to complete your lift ticket. An agent can quickly print a ticket.
- This link is valid until EOBD on March 27th. Book tickets at least 24 hours before skiing to give our system time to put everything in place.
- Ticket windows are located at all 3 ‘base areas’, so this includes the base of Town Lift on Main Street, the base of PayDay / Crescent in the Mountain Village Base, and the base of Red Pine Gondola in the Canyons Village Base.
